Williamson Family Medicine Jeffrey Williamson, DO Gretchen Schumacher, NP-C, PhD

A Modern Family Medicine Office Serving Our Community Through the Patient Centered Medical Home Model Since 2004

Williamson Family Medicine has been caring for patients in Northern Kent County for over 25 years.  We pride ourselves on our access and approachability, realizing that a "trip to the doctor' is rarely the highlight of your day.  We strive to ease that concern by diminishing the institutional feel and enhancing your comfort.  We understand how to communicate with you and most importantly, how to listen.

Dr. Jeffrey Williamson, Dr. David Keller and Nurse Practitioner Gretchen Schumacher, have created a very comfortable and modern facility with cutting -edge medical technologies while recognizing the need for patient-centered medical care.  Priority Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan have honored Williamson Family Medicine for their excellence in quality and patient care.  The practice has also been recognized by their peers a a "Best Practice" at Blue Cross Blue Shield's quality meeting in 2013.

David Keller II, DO.

Jeffrey Williamson, DO.

Dr. Williamson has been practicing in the Rockford and Tri-County area for over 25 years!  Originally from a small town in Central Illinois, Dr. Williamson brings a bit of small town/country doctor flavor to this practice. He moved to the Grand Rapids area for his Residency at Metro Health Hospital in 1992 and fell in love with the area.  Before opening Williamson Family Medicine in 2004, he practiced in Rockford, Cedar Springs and Howard City, where a majority of the practice still resides.  In addition to his work at Williamson Family Medicine, he has been involved with Hospice Care since 2014 and is Currently Medical Director for Kindred Hospice and enjoys raising and driving  draft horses on his farm.

We Welcome Dr. Keller to Williamson Family Medicine!

Dr. Keller and his wife are both local to Rockford. Dr. Keller was born and raised right down the street from the office and we have all known him for many years. He completed his medical school training at Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated from University of Michigan Health West Family Medicine residency. He trained under Dr. Williamson as a medical student and resident.

Dr. Keller is a new father to a little girl, an avid golfer, fisherman and enthusiast of all things Michigan State!

It is with great excitement that we came to an agreement for him to join our practice!
